Vacation is planned...my brain left for there weeks ago.

So vacation plans have been getting worked out for a little while now but I think my brain left for vacation a while ago. This has been a busy month with J working lots of over time and me starting my running clinic back up again. We are sad to say we lost one of our dear puppies (yes he was my 15 year+ old puppy) Duke. He was a loyal dog and a friend to everyone. Seriously, people always fell in love with him and he was sweet and always followed me around. He was a member of my family for many years and I was crushed to see him go. He will truly be missed and can never be replaced. He was one of a kind. His sweet face is what I know I will miss the most. RIP Duke. You were deeply loved.

Dispatcher of the YEAR

So my amazing husband was the 911 dispatcher of the year and I could not be more proud. He is a hard working man who gives 110% of himself to what he does. Even through the year of surgery and being out for recovery he was able to recieve this award and to me that proves how hard he has worked.
Love you Jared!

Long time no blog.

Well it has been a busy month around our house. We have been working in the yard trying to get the leaves gathered and burned and hopefully that will equal better looking grass this year. We had snow that shut down the city (not that it really should have but that is how snow works in our town haha). We also had dinner with some awesome friends at a Sushi bar where we actually had the hibachi option that night. I had never done that before and it was amazing. So fun and really great food. Also, my mom J and I went to see the Dr. Seuss art that is at the library right now. It is very cool to have a President come from your state because then you have a chance to visit thier library which is massive and full of history and also a great place for different exhibits to come through. We saw not only the art work we know and love but things I had never see before. Dr. Seuss was a very interesting man who was gifted and there should be no doubt about that.
Overall it has been a good and busy month. I have started to get back into arts and crafts and my running clinic starts up tonight. I am really looking forward to this Spring and Summer as we have a lot of great plans. Hope you are all well and know we love you!
Us enjoying the snow!

Where or where has my motivation gone?

Okay blog it is you and me. So I know I need to upload photos and such...so I will work on that. From The end of 2010 to the first month down of 2011 where has time gone. The holidays were wonderful, filled with friends and family (wish we could have seen more family), and a tiny bit of snow!
Well the only thing that has changed is... I started Zumba! It is so fun. I feel a little lost but I know I will catch on. At the end of the month my running clnic starts back up so that is really exciting! We have had a few warm and wonderful days here but today is rainy and cold. I am so ready for spring and to be outside. We have some great areas for walking/jogging.
Speaking of spring I am starting to get the itch to spring clean. I am making lists of things that can go or be sold and what I would like to do for organizing and making things nice and neat. So I am making a list of things I need to blog about and photos that need to be uploaded. Sorry for the time away but it was nice to give myself some rest. Happy Tuesday and Happy February!

2011 here we come...

Well 2010 brought a lot of ups and downs to our little family. We are very excited for the next year. We are looking forward to more home projects, to begin working on our yard, and to continue to grow our marriage. We know that God has blessed us because we found each other and it is important to make sure we do our best to treat each other with respect, love, and kindness. We love you all dearly. What are y'alls goals for the new year?

Well Hello.

So Christmas is just around the corner. I am doing my best to make it through today and tomorrow before I am off work (Praise the Lord). Gifts are wrapped and ready, food is bought and ready to be cooked, and the house...well it's almost clean. So I have been thinking about what I am going to set as a goal for the upcoming year and really what I keep coming back around to is making sure that the foundation to my marriage is a strong one. This year has really helped us grow and learn about what we want and don't want and I really think we need to make sure we are rooted in friendship, faith, and love. That means learning to let go of things that are not worth the fight and fighting for things that are important. I know we are get stressed and it is easy to pick a fight but the tough part is stepping back and checking the real issue and bringing that into the light. Not to always have my guard up and to communicate. So my thought today is that everyone is blessed to have friends and family that love and support you and that you do your best to return the favor. With out a support system life is pretty dang hard. I know Jared and I are blessed and we want to cultivate that and grow it into something amazing. Love y'all! Merry Christmas!
