my favorite things....
First of today is cold, wet, and blah! I think it means that it would be a great day to sit inside and watch some of my favorite movies!!!

Next is The King and I!
What a great movie that has so many fun songs.
Oh and White Christmas is the BEST MOVIE! I think it is the time of year where I glaze over everything until Christmas. I know I should not but I just love everything about it so much. Seems so early to have Christmas on the brain but alas...I sure do.Tuesday, October 13, 2009
so easy...a caveman can do it...
Since not many people read this I am going to go out on a limb and vent a little irritations. First off I want to say that I am blessed to have an amazing husband who loves me the way I am and for who I am. On the same note...to the people out there that are in bad relationships I say to you cut your losses and make a break for it. There is no one worth staying with so much so that you forget who you are. It is important for people to know that love is a precious gift and it is yours to give and yours to protect. Next I want to say that I have a good family and I am blessed to be so loved. We all need to take a minute everyday to let the ones around is know how we feel. Lastly I want to say that my friends are some of the best friends I could ever ask for and you all are amazing! I am trying not to be to specific about things that are going on but I think that this month being national domestic violence month is a good time for us to look for a local shelter and give support. My marriage is blessed and happy and healthy but not everyone has this opportunity.

Things from Michael's...I had some awesome coupons!
I got a few holiday treats at Michael's. I had some 50% off coupons so I was able to get some great deals. I got fake carvable pumpkins that I plan on making into a fall decoration...I am thinking of a topiary idea I saw on another blog...also I got the cutest pumpkin basket, and I got something that would make my bestie proud...a SCRAPBOOK and paper to start a family scrapbook. Should make for a good time and right now I would love the distraction. Life is too crazy some days. Oh and Daisy and I did a fashion shoot lol! Here are all the pictures! Enjoy <><
My scrapbook and fun papers...The scrapbook is black and white (I love all things houndstooth).
This is my pumpkin basket. It is super cute and it was 1/2 off.
These are the carvable pumpkins. I think they are made out of a foam but they seem very durable. Check out weareTHATfamily.com -this blog had the idea with these pumpkins. Super cute.
This is the Daisy fashion show! Hehehe. We took some pictures in a pretty scarf!

working on my centerpiece for turkey day...
Well here are my three little pumpkins that will be the start of this project.
Next I will get my other supplies.
This is the basket that I found at Dollar Tree! Great find and it is super cute. I do not think this picture does it justice! Ha! But that is just me...I like to see all the detials of things and this baskey really is very pretty.
This is a picture of the Spanish Moss I used to fill the basket and give the pumpkins something to sit on and make the basket look full.
Yay! Enjoy!

something i forgot to post...
Our hotel!

Jared and I went to Hot Springs a few months ago to celebrate our two years together as a married couple. It was wonderfull. I wanted to post some pictures from that. We went shopping and then up to this tower to check out the view and we even played frisbee golf! Super fun. We took a tour at one of the bath houses...it was really interesting and so pretty inside.

Now about our evenning...
First off as soon as I got home I changed clothes and then Jared and I were out the door. (I won money on the scratchers now that AR has the lotto!) So we went to the pumpkin patch...it was super fun. They had a lot of neat things. You can check out there site at http://www.marysplaceinbryant.com/pumpkin.htm Then we went to see whip it where we were there with like...oh I dont know...four other people. It was great because we were certainly not crowded. The movie was awesome and I totally think everyone should go see it. Anywho everyone enjoy the day! It is very wet here! But I am still bound and determined to have a good day. <><

Baxter and Daisy
I thought I would do an update on the kids (well dogs...but they are my children).
Baxter is getting so big! He is finally learning to listen but still loves to jump. We are working on that one. Daisy is still a little queen and she is getting a hair cut this week! I will have to post a before and after photo.
Love my puppies!

:)
Hope you all had a wonderful night…I know I sure did. The weather is amazing. I cooked dinner on the grill which was super fun. Also my amazing hubs made me chocolate martinis! They were very yummy…oh and I learned how to make an amaretto sour. Jared made one that was better lol. Also had some yummy wine! Lord that sounds like a lot but I assure you it was not that much! HA! It was so nice to be able to have the windows open and enjoy the fresh air. Now only if that could be done at work too. I think though it would be a great day for an afternoon walk. It seems like that will help me clear my head. I have hit my bull limit this morning and am so ready to read something good (like the new cosmopolitan magazine…come out already) and lay in bed with lots of big fluffy blankets and all the windows open. Hope everyone else had a great night.
