HAPPY BIRTHDAY JARED!

So yesterday we had an awesome day for Jared's Birthday. We went to The House (a restaurant) and had some yummy food for lunch and some yummy beer! Then we went home and took a nap until dinner time and we went to Copelands a Cajun place. It was vrey good. We had steak and really good potatoes and a good time with friends.

It has been kind of grey here the last few days but it seems like the sun is trying to make a stand! I would love for a few sunny but cool days. They fall is such a wonderful time to enjoy being outside. Jared has a birthday coming up this week and we are going to go out to dinner with some friends and spend the day relaxing. As it should be! I plan on getting a 15 minute nap in if I get a chance. (well maybe longer than that hehe). The picture I posted is one I took this summer on Wye Mountain. It is such a cool place with a lot of flowers and amazing scenery. Well enjoy the day...I know I sure am!

what a nice way to spend a weekend....

Well this weekend was good. Saturday I was able to work on some things at home and have some time to relax and paint my nails, nap, and catch up on some of my favorite shows and watch some good movies. Sunday was a day to visit with family that I had not seen in years. It was a great time for fellowship and yummy food. Poor Jared had to work this weekend but since he likes his job so much I don't feel too bad for him. HA!

Today is certainly a Monday and as I sit typing I keep thinking that it is one hour till lunch and then 5 and a half hours from now till time to go. Which seems very long today since I feel like a nap in my warm and comfy bed sounds lovely! Ahhh. Oh well.

Also Jared has a birthday coming up this week! Woo hoo Birthday Boy! Love you...and everyone else enjoy their day...where ever it might take you.

when you are down to nothing GOD is up to something

So...how is everyone today? I am very well thank you. Just plugging along here at work this morning trying to will the clock to move ahead to four already. Though I doubt I can make that happen. It is Wednesday which means only two more days left.We have had so much rain the last few days which is nice for all the beautiful flowers, trees, and plants. However, it is raining so much that parts of the state have had flash flooding and roads where I live are being washed away...when I say that I mean that most people here have a gravel driveway that is pretty long and now it is all in the road causing lots of slow downs. I am trying to stay motivated today to get a lot done but if you are like me rain means a good time to lay in bed with the window open and nap and catch up on movies! I would rather do that for sure. Jared has a birthday coming up in a week! I can not believe time goes buy so fast. Well I will be going for now time to crank out some work so I can go to lunch and read through the new cosmo! Everyone enjoy the day!

So this weekend was good. Saturday had training at the fire department then hung out with Jared and then helped mom in the yard. Sunday we slept till 10 am and it was amazing! I can never stay asleep past eight so just that little bit of extra time was amazing. Then that afternoon I went shopping with mom and then I cleaned like a mad woman! It is so nice to have an organized and picked up room! Makes the week seem a little more manageable! Hope everyone is well. I am getting sleepy here because I just had my yummy breakfast and it is rainy here!

You can check out the website for what they do...let me tell you though it was very good and it was fun to take the VW Bus out. All the other hippies were jealous! I dont blame them it is a fun ride!
The weather has been great the past few days. It has been cool! So crazy for Arkansas but hey that is what you get when you live here. If you dont like the weather now just wait ten minutes! Very true. Also we had some friends from out of town come visit and it was so nice to get to know them again (it has been a while) and to meet some new people.
FYI I got some zinnias from the yard and brought a little vase from home and it really perked up my bland desk. Just a nice touch to a long few days at work. Sometimes just a little color can brighten things up a lot more than you realize.
