ZZ Top

Friday night we went to see ZZ Top. It was great. The band before was good...very southern rock. The crowd was a little more crazy than I thought it would be but it made for awesome people watching. From the burnt out hippies to the bikers there was no lack of entertainment. We tried to keep our spot in the grass as big as we could making sure to keep our blankets nice and stretched out but the people around us had their own plans as well and we ended up standing during the entire time. It was great and if you go to our photo blog sight I posted a picture on the right hand side. They played a lot of great songs and a few of our favorites. The weather was making us somewhat nervous at first because rain seemed to be on the horizon but the sun finally set and the air was cool and the view of the band and river was amazing. Be on the look out at the end of the month for Steve Miller Band updates and pictures. I guess you can tell we are trying to see more concerts and enjoy life. Love J&L
